The "Manage Your Stress" workshop ensures that participants gain insight into their stress levels and learn to manage stress effectively. This gives them important tools and techniques to recognize triggers of stress, reduce them, build resilience and find a healthy balance both at work and at home.

Manage your stress

Over a quarter of the Dutch experience stress symptoms on a weekly basis. Stress occurs everywhere. Both at work and in private situations. And experiencing stress does not necessarily have to have a negative effect on our performance and well-being. In fact, stress can have a positive effect on achieving the right result. But experiencing chronic stress can lead to serious long-term health problems. And thus lead to frequent or long-term absenteeism.

Target

In the workshop you will gain insight into your personal sources of stress and how you experience stress. You will learn how to recognize whether your stress is a risk to your health and what steps you can take to deal with it differently.

The content of the workshop is as follows:

  1. What is (chronic) stress?
  2. What are the effects of stress?
  3. (H)recognize the stages of burnout
  4. What are your sources of stress?
  5. How do you make a difference?
  6. Insight into personal characteristics and development points

    During the workshop there is room for personal questions, with everything being kept confidential, of course.
